Hello Billionaires in the making,
I woke up feeling not too excited, but it won't last. Today, I am going to do a few assignments, (I decided to join the work force in church but you have to go through this academy responsible for teaching good Christian virtue and the workings of the church, and so we usually get assignments after each class) it's like the regular school only that this one teaches you about the things of the spirit and general life practices as a christian) So you see, I am actually learning everywhere I find myself.
Later today, I'll do some research work on improving my blog, get to know the settings (though blogger appears to be simple, the interface is friendly) I want to give you guys the best experience as you read my stories and journey with me into becoming a billionaire.
This is a life long journey, and even when I'm gone (hey, I'll be here for a very long time eh!) I'll still inspire you with my stories every time you come on here.
It's 07:22 A.M, today the 30th of April, 2021, (the plan was to publish immediately after writing but that didnt happen and this day is 10th May, 2021) my battery is 99% my day starts now! Yeah, I'm currently jobless.
Remember the goal of this blog? Yeah! So aren't you wondering how a jobless guy today intends to become a billionaire, not a millionaire oh, billionaire in a couple of years? Personally I don't think I'm going to just stumble upon a billion naira or a million dollar, that's going to be me wishing. "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride on them right"? So how will a jobless youth go from being jobless to being a business mogul, operating in different assets, profit oriented ventures. This is especially what makes it exciting! There's currently no evidence to show anything like that will happen but we'll all be here when it'll happen...If Jesus tarry... smiles.
Just so you know, before I left kano campus, Nigerian Law School, I decided to start up savings for myself. I started really small, but it is tasking, this is because I am supposed to save up at least N600 each week, payment is made every Monday night, as I prepare for another week of savings.
How I get N600 each week as a jobless guy? *That's a story for another time, but I've now gone 3 weeks religiously putting 6H in the account.
Just because I also encourage this culture, savings that is, I'll let you in how it is intended to operate.
I am a very meticulous person, as an introvert, one should be naturally meticulous, it's one of the hallmarks of being an introvert.
So I opened a piggyvest account for the purpose of saving. I chose piggy cos they are secure, they have a very good interface, easy to use, and they have good plans, saving plans that can fit into your saving needs. Plus, they have a better interest rate than conventional banks, albeit little, it's worth it.
I started 2 savings plan on piggy, one is the target plan, very easy to set up, took me 5 minutes thereabout.
On the target savings plan, which is the most important, like I said before I payed 6H every week, while for the other plan, I just put whatever I have, sometimes N100.
Just to add, as a Billionaires in the making, you have to realise that savings cannot make you rich, especially saving in a bank. Savings is something that helps you, what I like to call indemnify, it indemnifies you in a stormy season, or helps you start up a venture without the need of touching your other assets. This is savings for me. I'm not a financial adviser, but most financial advisers will agree with me.
There's always a target for savings, but it is not compulsory that one must have a target at the outset. My plan was to save as much as I can to launch me into the crypto space, or the currency exchange market. So while I am saving, I am also learning about the space, since I'll be launched soon. The purpose of the other saving plan is to indemnify the target plan, where I default in the regular weekly payment. Get it? Yup! We move...
Today 5th June 2021, I decided to publish this.
